Snatch Tips

  • Set up position- Hips low, chest up
  • First pull- Goal is to get to the second pull 
  • Second pull- Starting to create speed and power while keeping bar close 
  • Third pull- Pulling yourself under the bar

Drills

  • The Tall Snatch 
    • Focus - Quick and agressive under the bar 
  • Dropping under the bar
    • Focus- Catch in a good position, active sholder (pressing up into the bar)
